sociation will meet with the Red
Hill Baptist Church of Christ in
conjunction with all the other
Unions of the Edgefield Associa
tion in a centennial service on
Saturday before the 5th Sunday in
July next, at 10 o'clock a. m. Pro
gramme to-be published by a'com
mittee for that purpose. .

Section 1 of an act of the Legisla
ture, approved Dec. 22, 1891, reads as
follows :
Be it enacted by the Senate , and
House of .Representatives .pf. the State
of South Carolina, now met and sitting
in General Assembly, and by. the au
thority ot the same, That the trustees
of the several school districts in the
county shall report to the County Au
ditor the names of all taxable polls in
their respective districts, and said Au
ditor shall enter the same upen the tax
duplicate to be furnished the County
Treasurer. That said names so fur
nished shall be published annually'in
a newspaper published at the county
seat once a week for three consecutive
weeks, and where there is no paper
published at the county seat, then in
some other paper having gener.1 cir
culation in the county.

call upon School Trustees -of all the
school districts in Edgefield county to
make to me at once a full and complete
list of persons in their respective dis
tricts who are liable to poll tax.
