call is hereby made for a meeting of our respec
tive Companies in the Court House on next Stt
urday, the 20th inst., at 3 o'clock, P. 31. As bh
siness of importance will bo presented to the
meeting for its action, it i, desirable that there
should be a full attendance.
All persons within five miles of the Court
Hlouse, capable of defence at home, or active ope
r.itions in the- tented field, irrespective of age,
(and not in some other similar organization,) are
upon the muster rolls of the two Companies formed
here, and expected to attend the drill of one or
the other of these Companies.
The Cavalry Company meets at S o'clock, A.
M., next Saturday, and the Infantry at 5 o'clock ,
P. M., for drill and instruction.
