Among the viarious experiments to ap proximate artificial light to the pure and 'mellw light of the natural sun, none have proved success ces fol. until the non-explosive self-generating Gas light was invented. This Light is adapted to Fac tories, Chlrehes, Hotels, Stores, Vessels, Rail Roads, private Dwellings, &e., and only requires a trial to test its superior advantage over all others. Un:ike the ordinary fluid lamp, it does not throw off unconsumed earbon, but it forms from the fluid pure Hydro Carbon Gas, all or which is conveyed through the centre of the generator, not leaving any substance to escape unconsumed. This patent burner can be fitted to any ordinary fluid or oil lamp, without the least possible danger of explosion, a they ar- so construct-.d that to explode one of them would be.utterly impossible. TI ey are considet ed by thousands who are now using them to be as safe, if not safer than the oil lamp or candle, as there are no sparks flying from the flame, and give precisely the same shaped light as you get from the cual gas. I wish it to be diatinctly understood that the gas lamp will give the same amount of light as seven stearine or first quality of tallow candles for one cent per hour. I have purchased the Patent Right for this Lamp, and, for the purpose of enabling the public to judge of its merits, my store will be open every evening until 8 o'clock, and lighted with this new gas! 0!T OLD LAMPS can be altered and fitted with this new patent-burner at a trifling expense. 107 All persons intereged in having a cheap and brilliant LIGHT are invited to call and examine this one.
