EXECUTOR'S SALE. IN pursuance of the provisions of the -Will of DIOMEDE F. HOLLINGSWORTH, dc'd. we will proceed to sell all that portion of the Estate of the Testator directed in said will to be sold for distribution amongst the legatees, therein named, to wit: One. Tract of Land lying on Horn's Creek, 16 miles above Hamburg, and about 14 miles from Edgefield, C. H., on the Martin Town Road, adjoining lands of George MieKie, the Estate of.J. Jones and others. This tract coutalis 1675 acres, more or less. The purcha ser will abide by the'loss or gain in the number of -acres. The Executors can say with confidence, that this is one of the most VALUABLE COTTON AND CORN PLANTATIONS in Edgefield District, surpassed in their judgment, by none on Horn's Creek, a section of the District well known to all to be in a high degree, suited especially to the cul ture of the COTTON PLANT. Several hundred acres of this tract are now in suc cessful cultivation, a considerable part of which is fresh and in a high state of improvement and til lage. There are about 275 acres of native forest the balance nofunder eultivation, grown up old fields, and if not entirely restored to its original fer tility, capable of producing from 1000 to 1200 lbs. of cotton to the acre, and abounding in timber use ful for plantation purposes. There are on the premises, a comfortable resi dence, overseer's house, and all necessary out-build ings, including a Gin House and Screw. Ia the opinion of the present experi. need over seer, there are in this Tract low-grounds enough to raise from six to seven thousand bushels of corn, with an excellent system of drainage commenced and already in successful operation. -ALSO at the same time and place, we will sell between 33 and 60 valuable Negroes. In this gang, there are two good wagoners, one good cook, and two excellent house women. We will also sell at the same time and plae, 3 ROAD WAGONS, I OX CART, 19 HEAD OF MULES AND HORSES, A LOT OF COWS AND CALVES, 40 OR 50 HEAD OFSILEEPLOTOFFAT NING AND STOCK HOGS, BLACKSMITH TOOLS, 1500 OR 2000 BUSHELS OF CORN, A LOT OF FODDER, A LOT OF COTTON SEED, consisting in large part of Boyd's pro lific, ONE GIN HEAD, LOT OF PLOUGH HOES and various other artieks not necessary here to be mentioned. The above Sales will be made at the Plantation bove described, on Tuesday, the 8th December next, And the day following if so much be necessary.
