year. by Mr. Chas. Compty, as a Hotel, but recently
by Maj. G. A. Addison-as a Dwelling, respeetfully
ann'ounces to his old patrons and friends that he
will open said House in a few days for the accom
medation of all who may favor him with their com
pany. His Uotel is privately but still conveniently
located, which makes it verygdesirable for a board
ing house. -
He promegs to use every exertion to - please, and
having had considerable experiene in the Hotel
business feels confident that he will render complete
satisfaction to the public generally.

and will constantly keep his table ladend with the
best that can be lad. Mrs. C. -will also give her
personal attention to the culinary department, in

eations of dressing, &c. Bids will be received for
TIlE ROUG H STONE D ELIVER ED IN TH E
YARD and TlHE DRESSING, either separately
or jointly. The contractor for the rough stone
will be requit-ed to take the Quarry Tools, Cranes
gaid MachinIery'aly prepared, at a fair aid ren
sonable price, and the contraet-r for the d vening
will be required to pay a like price fur the Cranes,
Cutting stteds, Blacksmith Sho.p and Cutting Tools
upon the yard, a schedul- ot a'l which, with the es
timated value. may be seen and exambiil in the
Architect's office. Approved security %%ill be re

ite, free of sap and seams. to be worked to the re
qu rea dinienions, pin. hammllere on their insile

per perch of 25 cuble fe.et, for foundation piers of
portico.

kept full, and to be well hammered clear back ; the
front edge returns worked back fine, for 3 inches

proper dimensions of each stone, all as per sample
