various varieties.
This place is also well watered, Log -Creek run
ning through the eastern part ofit, and Beaver dam
throagh the western portion, with a sufficient num
ber of tributaries supplying an abundance of water
at allsessessofthe year for stock; and two fine
springs of good freetone water adjacent to the set
tlement, one on each side.
Much the larger portion of this tract of land is in
native;forest,.-supplied with an almost exhaustless
quantity of the finest timber, consisting of pine, oak
and hickory. There are ten or twelve springs of good
wat onthe BeTer Damportiou of this tract of
laid.' 'Two - finW- orehards of-selected fruit trees,
generally young andlgguriant.. This is one of the
most healthy sections of the District, and well adap
ted to the culture-of cotton, grn and small grain.

six miles from Edgefield C. H. 'This tract is unim
proved, contains 380 acres, and heavily timbered
with native forest.. There are on the tract 3 or 4
fine springs and a fine site for a residence.

Contains 202 aorets, lying on the Abbeville road
