They are ilso happy to announce the very prosperous condition of the Institute, and its flattering prosperity for the coming year. They assure their Patronls that na efforts will be spared to continue deserving (of so liberal a patronage. The next Session will commence on MONDAY, the 10th of January 1853. The same Teachers will be employed in the dif. ferent Departments, as during the past year. And the same rates of Tuition, and general regulations: continued. Papils can enter at any time during the Session, and if near the middle or close of the Session. they will be charged from the time of entrance, to th'e end of the Session. Those leaving before the Sel sion closes, except in eases of sickness, are charged for the whole Session. - A pplication for admission may be made to either of the Trustees, or the Principal. ALLEN, who, at the General Election held in October, 1852, was chosen a member of the House of Repre sentatives for the Election District of' Edgetielld to serve for two years, has been declared ineli gible. And, whereas, the Constitution of the State of South Carolina directs that in such a case a Writ of Election shall be issued bov the Speak er of the House of Representatives, for the pur pose of filling the vacancy thus occasioned, for the remainder of the term for which the Mei ber so ineligible.was elected to serve: Now, therefore, you and eacl of you are here by required, after due advertisement, and with strict regard to all the provisiong of the Consti tution and Latws of the said State, touching your duty in such case, to hold an election for a Member of the House of Representatives, for the Election District aforesaid. to serve for-the remainder of the term for which the said JOHN C. ALLEN was elected: the Pulls to be opened at the various places of Election in the haid District, on Monday and Tuesdav, 3rd and 4th days of January n'ext. by the variens sets of Managers for those places respectively.
