and whereby parents may be spared the ex
pense of sending their daughters to those dis
tances fron home, which are always sources of
pain and often prejudicia'.
An experience of more than itwenty fire years
in his profession. has ntaured his tahlans, and
given him a thorongh knowledge of the char
anters and reynuiremnents of yutttlt,-his dlisci
pline is strict but parental -mmtives of duty
and alI.ction, are the inducemcuts to study
which he incnlcates, and his system is rather to
enlarge the mind, than to overhurden the memo
