Dr;'Jayne.-Dear Sir: I[feel botind to the aflited to .ive -publicity to the extraordinary e rits of'your valuable medicines. 1 have suffered fur several years past with Liver Complaint, and the train of diseases vhich follows-a complete prostration of the system-so that it was with great digficulty I could walk, and at times I was confined to my room. To add to my misery; a Scrofulous affetion appeared in my throat, with Rheu matism in my arms,so that I could not raise my right. arnm to my head. In the hottest weather miy feet and hands would ache with the cold, and 'perspiration had almost ceased. I now became afflicted with a dty hoarse cough and gave up all hopes of ever getting well. I had night sweats, and eat little or no sleep, with frightful dreams and morbid headache I seemed to be bordering on INSANITY, and was denied all study or mental exercise. I could notread a small paragraph in a news paper .without great difficulty. I had great sorenais in my stomach, winch caused it to swell so much that I was n'nable to hio down, or even to recline, but had to be propped in a chair. I had the advice of some eminent physicians, and tried nearly all the remedies used in such cases, but enntined to grow worse, and it ap pared us though a apeedy dissolution was ta kisgplac. [ now heard of your medicines, and deter. mined to try your SANA TIVE PIL LS, and to my surprise the soreness left me, so I could wakabout the house. I coutinued to 'im p-ove from that time.. Shortly after my wife called atlyour.Store,.and stated my case to you, at on sent me a bottle of your Alternative, and also word to come and see you, and you would investigate my case, and cure me. This I did not .believe, as I felt I - was beyond the. reach of human skill. Aftrtaking your Alterative aid Pills, for tree weeks, there was a decided 'change for the better, so that when I called upon yeu..you said dvould cet well, and that your Alterative wold cure me 'eff'ectutlly. With no hopea, however,'of getting. well. I still continued ta king your Alternative, until I 1Tad taken the fourth bottlb,'when there was a sudden change in ny whole systemn,-as thongh I ha-d got rid of some great biirthen, and I could draw my breath .as usual. My nerves gradually became strong,.and my appetite returned. -,It has been about four monthseince I com nriced taking youir Medicines, and at this im'early' every vestige' of disease is aradica ed.fom'my system. I am as active, and inearly sa sitig, as at any period of my life I have diogvgained nine'pounds in, two monthes.
