Cafton.-Since our report of the market on
the 24th instant we have had but little doing n
this article. The receipts have been light. and
the few sales made, were at a decline of abont
j a cent on former quotations- This de! line
has been produced by the nifavorable advices
received frem Europe. by tie Acadia, to the
4th inst. We change our quotations to corrs
pond with going rates, say, ordintiry to middling
5 jto 6,4: middling fair to fair 6 & to 7- fully
fair to good fair 7 4 to 7 4 ; and choice 7 1 c.
In looking over the receipts of Cotton at all
ports of this country, we find them less by 123,
