The floors have been elevated above the high water mark of the great freshet of May, 1640. Planters will thus be secured from the liossi bility of loss and damage by freshets. I avail myself of the present occasion, to re turn my thanks'to my friends and patrons, fur their liberal support during the past seasoi.
