"The New Genesee Farmer,'' has passed
through the first year of its publication witn
very flattering success, notwithstanding the op
posing infuences which it has had to encoun
ter; and while the publishers express their
gratitude for the amsistanee and support they
have thus far received. thev would now with
renewed confidence, appeal to the friends of
Agriculture for aid in behalf of the Second
Volume. The successful re-establishinent of
the GENESEE FARMER in its own Native
Soil, and at its economical price, is a somace of
much gratification to the friends of imlirove
ment in Western New York ; and the puh
lishers flatter themselves that their efTorts are
not unappreciated, and will not long be unre
warded.
It is now fairly proved that the - Now Genr!
see Farmer" can be sust:dned. at a price which
places it within the reach of all; nid the repit
tation which it l:is already oitained fior laicat
and usefulness, will not sniler h a comparison
with any paper of the kind in the Uiion. FEvery
successive Number that has been issued. his
shown an increase of talent ail additional cor

iseftul and spirited articles selected from -wilher
Agricultural publications. the Nev Genasee
Farmer has received utring the past year or;
vinal contributions from ior~e than SEhINT i
WRITERS, most of whom are well known
PRACTICAL FARMERS. This crirrespon
deuce will continue to increase, and, witi onr
able editorial assistance, we can coifidleitlv
tssure the readers of the paper, thit it wll coit
tinue to increase in interest and usefulness, in
proportion as it becomes better known and
more generally circulated.
The p roprietor, are ' t'rmined to spare no
reisonIile paiis (or expeiise in making the
New Genesee Farmer worthy of a liberaI sup
port. Several important improvinnemets will
be made in the next olutme; amiong which
are the following:-Each number will contain
items of English and other news, particularly
relating to the crops and the markeis; such as
tnay be ofservive to farmers in tmarketing their
produco. The paper will be of fine giality
and with a handsome engraved leading,
(which is in a s:ate of preparation.) the appear
ance of the sheet will be mitch improved. The
Farmer will be issued reguarly onl time first of
eachm in th, and mailed n ith great eespatch.
A competent and careful elerk is employed to
cter the names of subscribers. and keep tie
accounts, so that we hope to avoid all inacei
racies or cause of complaints.
The aim and object of the New Gene'see
Farmer, is to please and benefit all of its rea
ders, and advance the intirests of Aga icnlinre
and Horticlture-the be-t interesLs of coimm
nity. Many of its presnit readers have ex
pressed the high degree of satisfaction they
have derived from its pages; and we hope alli
of them are so well pleised with it that they
eVill not only renew their own sibsemiptins
promptly, but indnce tieir mii ' ghbors to sulb
scribe ALSO. There are tlioands of Iarim-rs
to be found, who have iever seen the New
Genesee Farmer; and if it was shown them.
and its character explained, they would readily
subscribe. We conceive this to be a herr
which the readers of the paper owe to the*.
neighbors, and to their couitirv, a4 well as ti
us. Let this ditty be doine priomptly, anid our
mneans of usefulness wvill be greatly extenided.
and the salutary inifinence otf the paper illt

Vegetab!e Life Medicines.
T IlESE Medicines are indebted for
their name to their manifest ana sen

ip,,o which they consequently act.
Tie LIFE MEDICINES recommend

Other medicines only partially cleanse

M10olai's Vegetable Lire Medicines have
been tioroughly tested. and prouounced a

Gout, Dropsies of all kinds. Gravel, Worms,
Asthma and Consumption, Scurvy, Ulcers,
Inveternte Sores, Scobutic Eruptions and
Bad Complexions, Eruptive complaints.
Sullow, Clouly. and other disagreeable
Complexions. Salt Rheum, Erysipelas,
Common Colds and Influenza, and various
other complaints which afflict the human
frame. In FvERa and AcuE, particular

eminently sticecssriI so much so. that in
the Fever and Ague districts, Physicians
almost universally prescribe them.
All that Mr. Molf'nt requires of his pait
ents is to be particular in taking the Life
Medicines strictly according to the direc
tions. It is not by a newspaper notice, or
by anyithing rnt lie himself may say in
their favor. thit he hopes to gain credit.
