Altogether this state has seven I representatives abroad. It was not long c since that Mr. Ingersoll said that Pennsylva- r ia had no representative in the Cabinet.- f The want on her part of such honorable as- c sociation with Mr. Kendall, and Mr. Blair, :1 is amply compensated by her share of for- f cign embassies. Mr. Dallas must become r the most popular diplomatist in Russia. if f the Emperor Nicholas be refreshed with a r perusal of the Bradford county letter, which r -feast is doubtless in store for him. Mr. i Muhlenburg can amuse his Austrian Iajes- e ty with lBerks county polities, and discourse s as he is indirectly advised to do, of his an cientanid aristocratic family. Happy Penn- I sylvania! Wre give a brief statement of an insurec tion that had taken piace at Trinidad, Cuba. The Boston papers contain some further particulars. We copy the fotllwing from the Boston Daily Adv. By time Brig Adeliade, Captain Macloon, at this port. on Saturday from Trinidad, we learn that on the 5tth January a part of the negroes of 1)on Juan do Armentcro's estate rose, killed their biaek driver. and wounded a white man, They then procee ded to the woods, where they were joined by a number as "numn rous," (runawav slaves, outlawed.) aid the fullowitg night made an attack on the plumnation of Dont liedro Sanchez, where they killed two but were repulsed and driven back into the bushes. Next day n party of troops from the town of Trinidad and a considerable num ber of mounted men with dogs went it pur suit. They ascertained that the number of maranders was 60 and 70. They took several of the ringlenders, who were shoit, and some of the runaways gave them selves up. It was then thoulght there woid ie no futher trouble. But on the night of the 13th. having probably received :a reit f'rcement fron the mountainms, they attacked the plantation of Mr. J. Baker fortmetly of Philadelphia.
