We went lrom there with Denton
to the store; be asked to go in and
ace the dead body of Albritton. He
was closely guarded until lodged in
jail. On examination the ije$t day I
found several wounds apd bruises on
Ids body. Ho was under tire influence
of liquor when arrested, aiuj when
lodged in jail.

As stated in our last issue, the jury
returned a verdict of guilty, and the
prisoner was sen lanced to be hanged
on Friday, October Oth.
