The first eight months of the <j year registered 10,442 -double cen- p tuers of butter coming in, against 550,000 annually before the war. The former yearly import of milk|>" was 330,000 double centners and of P1 cream 449,000. In the eight months ~ ending September 1. imported milk has amounted to 62,189, and the in- ^ flow of cream reached the ridiculously low figures of 123 double cen tners. ^ Eggs formerly came here from abroad at the rate of 1,667,000 double centners a year, besides the ar- j rival of 57,134 double centners ol j egg yelks alone.
