IF YOU ARE WELL BRED.
You realize that one of the greatest
tests of good manners comes at
the table and you teach a child early ,
! the proper uses of his knife, fork
[and spoon, and teach him to sit correctly
at the table.
You do not permit him to make
disparaging remarks about the food
and you teach him to pass lightly
over any unpleasant incidents or accidents.
j Teach him to bring agreeable conversation
and a friendly spirit, as
well as clean hands and a well-groom
ed appearance to the table.
