A GETTING BUSINESS STARTED. 1 Some evenings ago a good piece of work started on Greenville Street when Col. C. E. Williamson invited in a few friends to take care of a possum and accessories which he had gathered in. Fred Cason is entertaininj this afternoon at her home on Nortl Main street in honor of Miss Salli< Sue Ramey whose marriage to Mr Sam Sherard is announced for "Nov ember 30th. The party is a card party and a the same time a bridal shower. Thi card rooms were attractive in whiti chrysanthemums and gre^n aspara gus ferns. The entrance hall was i bower of gold and red chrysanthe mums. The punch bowl was' in a be* of these flowers with tempting bunch es of red grapes overshadowing th< flowers. Mrs. Tompkins Ramey serv ed the guests, upon their arrival with refreshing punch. Tables were arranged for cards The bride's table being set off wit) decorations in white and green. After the games Jordan Ramey young nephew of the bride, wheelei in a tea cart filled with presents fo the bride. They were very attractive presents. The bride-eloct wore a blue cantoi crepe gown, with grey trimmings and her sweet face was set off by i large black picture hat. After the evening's entertainmen Mrs. Cason served delightful re freshments of chicken and pimenti cheese salad, pickles, crackers am hot coffee. Assisting Mrs. Cason in receiving were Mrs. C. E.
