CREST The girls of the Jolly Girls Club ] eturned from Camp Jolly-Crest,] vhere they spent eight days, last j Wednesday evening. The Camp is situated an Lake Summit near Tux ?do. N. C., and the girls had a wonderful week, hiking, swimming, boat riding, studying botany and generally having the time of their young lives. Miss Alma Lupo was Lady Director with Mrs. A. K. Patterson, Miss Bessie F**ith and Mrs. W. M. Langley as A istant Directors. Mr. A. R. Marwick accompanied the Girls and had general charge oi the Camp activities. A great many visitors took advantage of the Camp and spent irom one meal to four days enjoying the delights of the Camp and the Beautiful Lake. Mrs. T. G. White and Misses Mary and Jeanse White leave tomorrow for Greenville where they will visit j Mrs Aug. W. Smith. I Miss Mary Smith is leaving TuesJay for Hendersonville where she will spend some time. Col. Robert McCaw Perrin spent I Sunday in this city with his sister, j Mrs. T. G. White. Col Perrin has just closed his camp in North Carolina and is on his way to New Orleans. The head of a!w man was drawn on a large square of white cloth, and each little one j tried to pin a pipe in the mouth of a the man on the cloth. George Rosenberg won the first prize, which was tj a box of candy, and Miss Frances I McCombs won the "booby" prize. ^ After the games and fun, the party 0 j * A I was invuea mio me uimng ruum anu served, cream and cake, and each guest was presented with a basket s of candy by the hostess, Miss Sarah y Neuffer. ? n BRIDGE PARTY Mrs. James Hill entertained the bridge club at the regular meeting ^ Friday afternoon at a most delightful meeting. The house was fresh in ^ cut flowers and ferns. In the hall r Miss Mary Sharpe and Mrs. William ^ Leslie served refreshing fruit punch ' The punch bowl was entwined with white clematis, and with the dark ^ green back ground was very attractive as well as refreshing. Mrs. Hill . invited about ten guests in addition to the members of the club.
