Searson have been in the city for several days on business. Mr. Marion Allen came over from Greenwood Wednesday evening and attended the U. D. C. dance at the Opera House that night. Miss Lucile McFerrin of Lincoln ton, Ga., and Miss Eva McFerrin of Greenwood are visiting their aunt, Mrs. J. R. White in Fort Pickens. Mrs. F. B. McLane returned Wed nesday after a pleasant visit to her daughter, Mrs. C. S. Todd of Col umbia. . Roland and Leon Turner, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Turner are ill with typhoid fever at the home of their grandmother in Charlotte, N. C. Mrs. A. T. George Slaton of Columbia, special agent for the New Brunswick Insur ance Company was in the city today visiting the Citizens' Insurance Com pany. The Hill's bun galow home was attractive in yellow Gladioli and white carnations. The color scheme of yellow and white be ing carried out in the refreshments of yellow sherbet ice and white ice cream which were served with cake. The following guests were pres ent: Mr. and Mrs. R.
