Swift, 62, wife of the president of
the Swift and company died sudden
ly at her home today following an
illqes of only a few hours. Her hus
band, who was returning from a
(business trip to Honolulu, stepped
from the train here without knowing
of his wife's death.
Mrs. Swift appeared in good
health last night, dining and playing
games with the family until ?he re
'tired. Physicians were called at 11
o'clock last night after she had suf
fered from a violent coughing at
tack. She died a few hours later.
