church will serve a dinner in the

j evening at eight o'clock, having as
I their guests the Senior Deacons and

j will be prepared and served by the
women of Circle No. 4 of the Bap
tist womfn's society, of which Mrs.
F. M. Welsh is president.
These social gatherings in the
Baptist church are always greatly
enjoyed, and do much to promote
the spirit of good fellowship in the
church and its various agencifes.

The young people of the city are
enjoying afternoon dances these
days. Saturday afternoon Donald
Harris was host to a crowd of his
young friends and dancing was ei
joyed until dusk.
