The rain fell in showers a j day. i A special showing of CO-EI Dresses is to be held in our dres department all day Wednesday March 30th. i DINNER TOMORROW e' EVENING IN BAPTIST SOCIAL HALL The Junior Deacons of the Baptist church will serve a dinner in the f y social hall of the church tomorrow j evening at eight o'clock, having as I their guests the Senior Deacons and i the Pastor of the church. The dinner j will be prepared and served by the women of Circle No. 4 of the Bap tist womfn's society, of which Mrs. F. M. Welsh is president. These social gatherings in the Baptist church are always greatly enjoyed, and do much to promote the spirit of good fellowship in the church and its various agencifes. AN AFTERNOON DANCE The young people of the city are enjoying afternoon dances these days. Saturday afternoon Donald Harris was host to a crowd of his young friends and dancing was ei joyed until dusk. A PLEASANT DAY. Col. Pat Roche spent a pleasant Easter for after the manner of the women folks he had a "spend the day party" and his guests were his friends, Capt Jack Perrin, Mr. T. P. Thom-j son, Jim Gilliam and W.
