MILL MANAGERS THINK OF SEED Men From Branch Of Cotton Indus try* Meet?Condition Of Trade New Orleans, Nov. 30.?A large number of managers of cotton seed oil mills from all Southern States met in conference here today to dis ?uss the serious condition of their trade due to the general business and industrial depression and lack ?f outlet by export of their pro ducts. During the discussion it was 'brought out that present prices of cotton seed and cotton seed prod ?cs are much below the cost of pro tection. In an effort to realize the present situation, strong resolutions were adopted setting oat that the entire agricultural and industrial life of the country is seriously threatened by tte low price that now prevails that the edible oH mills should continue < operate to afford the farmers a ready market for their products, and _ r tkrt congress should be urged to proceed in the proper but mo3t di rect way immediately on being con vened in December to direct the va rious departments of the govern ment to perform those duties for wfcich they were created.
