Under the I ew system cars will be licensed ac-|-y ording to weight and not accord-'n ig to horsepower. v!_ i There will be, under the jew sys- 'g m, seven diffei-ent classes of li- v enses for automobiles and ten for a rucks, besides licenses for dealers j nd motor cycles. The main thing p bout the 1921 automobile license'f | late will be its class, not its num- a r er. . :p For 1921 licensing automobilesl rill be grouped in the following'0 lasses: ClassA, for light cars up to 1 p ,000 pounds; Class B, from 2,000 j0 y 2,500 pounds; Class C, 2,500 to'a ,000 pounds; Class D, 3,000 to 3,-ji 00; Class E, 3,500 to 4,000; Class a 4,000 to 4,500; Class (J, overi ,500 pounds. In each class the'o umber will start at 1. 'si For licencing trucks there will be']< censes for hard tires and differ- !li nt licenses for pneumatic tires. There will 'be 148,600 a reater numbor than evvr before or the State. The highway departlent has this year issued 87,600 lates but a larger number of autolobiles are anticipated for 1921.
