V v \ COLD SPRINGS. N w t Misses Addie Bowen, lone Stevenson and Mr. James Bowen spent Saturday night at Mr. J. A. King's. Misses Eva and Mary Getsinger returned to Greenwood Monday afternoon after spending several riays with Miss Ellen Hagen. Mr. Roy McCombs reutrned from Clemson Saturday where he attended a ten day Short Course. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Osborne and children spent the week-end with Mr. arid Mrs. Georee David Nash. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Newell and children spent Sunday at Mr. N. P. Milford's. Mr. Julian Uldrick spent Saturday oight and Sunday with Mr. R. S. Uldrick, near Due West. Mr. Herman Sharpe spent Saturday night with Mr. Horace King. Miss Sarah Uldrick had as her guest Monday, Misses Thelma and Catherine Smith, Allie Belle and Bessie McCombs, Eva and Mary Getsinger and Ellen Hagen. A very pleasant day was spent by all. Misses Thelma and Catherine Smith returned to their home in Greenville Tuesday after a pleasant week spetn here. Misses Allie Belle and Bessie McCombs returned home with them for a short stay. Mr. Allen King spent a few days last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. King. SUMMER CONFERENCE AT LINWOOD COLLEGE The fifth annual conference of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church will convene on August the 5th at Linwood College. The first five days of this Conference will be devoted to a Sabbath * Institute.
