WOMAN'S NUDE BODY 1 FOUND IN TRUNK i t The Trunk Wa? Shipped From, Detroit, Michigan, to New York City, ' i i New York, July 24.?The body of^ a nude woman, jammed in a trunk was found today by employees of, the American Railway Express com-1 pany, among the unclaimed baggage i in the compaqy's East Forty-Kmrth' street warehouse. The trunk had1 been received here from Detroit' June 17. Tbe trunk. was shipped through the American Railway Express' company to this city by a man giv-1 ing the name of "A. A. Express company officials said that they had held the trunk at the depot baggage room for several !, days, but when it was unclaimed ' they had sent it to the storeroom, i . The pdlice immediately took possession of the trunk and 1 lis contents for investigation. ( The body, which had been covered over with feminine wearing apparel of good material, had been '' crammed into the trunk, which is ' 2 1-2 feet high and 3 feet long. The trunk, which was bound with a clothes line, was so crowded bv ;ts contents that it bulged at the side.
