the title of Extension Bulletin 46
just published by the Extension
Service of Clemson College to aid
in the campaign for the promotion
of proper grading, warehousing,
and marketing of cotton. The publication
contains discussions of cotton
grading, the necessity of warehouses,
the cost of construction and
operation of warehouses, a synopsis
of the State warehouse laws, the cooperative
agreement recently made
I between the ExtensJbn Service, the
I Bureau of Markets, the Warehouse
Commisisoner and the South Carolina
Association, and copies of half
a hundred letters from farmers

The first housetop landing for
airplanes in Manmattan will be
constructed on the roof of the
Hotel Astor this summer, according

|which says the plans are nearly
completed.
The landing will be above the
west end of the roof and will be 62
feet wide and 28G feet long.
In addition to the landing a
special service for airplane guests
will be provided. Passengers will
register on the roof and receive
