McKee, automobile magnate of Atlanta and Chicago, was here over Sunday and attended divine services that evening with Uncle Jim and Corp. Kerr. Miss Sarah Mundy of Greenwood was operated on for appendicitis at the Memorial Hospital yesterday. The, operation was successful and she is resting well. E. R. Wardlaw, traveling sales, man for the Buster Brown Co., with headquarters in Philadelphia, is visiting friends and relatives in Abbeville. The friends of Miss Agnes Edwards of Greenville will be sorry to learn that she has had a serious attack of appendicitis and is expected home today. ' Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Fowler and children, of Monroe, N. C., spent the week-end in Abbeville with Mrs Fowler's father, J. M. Harkey, who is in the Memorial Hospital. Little Ethel Bowen has returned to her home in the country after a pleasant visit to Edna White, on Greenville street. A tea party and a spend the night party were enjoyed by the little visitors. R. H. Kay was down from Honea Path Sunday seeing his people and telling about the prosperity in his part of the country.
