Mr. Ben H. Smith was in Abbeville Monday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Smith had a very happy reunion of their children j and grand-children last Monday.' They enjoyed a bountiful picnic din-1 ner and then drove over to Ware' Shoals to see the sights and enjoy the,! sports. \ Col. and Mrs. D. Humphries left ] last Friday for Montreat where they will join other members of the family who are there for the summer. < Mr. R. M. Haddon is visiting his j brother Mr. J. M. Haddon and family ] He came over from Abbeville to see his sister, Mrs. Franklin iJrake who < is still very ill. Mr. Haddon attended services at old Greenvale church on Sunday morning. Miss Mary Jordan who has been in Anderson hospital for some time, has returned to her home in Due West. We rejoice in her rapid recovery.
