Misses Erin and Hazel Crowther CHURCH AND STORE DESTROYED BY FIRE ~ / "A disastrous fire in the wee small hours of Sunday morning completely destroved the building and contents of the general merchandise store belonging to I. C. Brown on lower South Main Street, and only the walls of the Methodist church next door are left standing. "Mr. Brown's loss is practically complete, the total insurance on bothi the store building and stock of goods1 being only $1450 while he estimates his stock alone to be worth approxi-' mately $10,000. | "The Methodist church which was also destroyed .fared slightly better,1 the stewards having $1,500 insurance on it. The drawing was on tracing muslin. In the other glove was found an- j other map, but it was so damaged i that the tracing was illegible.
