Mrs. Tinkler and Miss Faulkner of Memphis, Tenn., were at the Eureka Hotel Friday. They will take in commencement exercises at Due West both being graduates of the Woman's College. Henry Perrin, of Bishopville, who is a student at Presbyterian College in Clinton, arrived in Abbeville today and will spend several days with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Perrin. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Hemphill, of Newnan, Ga., will attend the Due West commencement,, ana from there will come to Abbeville to visit their kindred. Mr. Hemphill is an alumnus of Erskine College. Hill and others attended a meeting of the South Carolina Development Board in Greenwood Thurs day afternoon. J. S.
