Washington, March 8.?Prohibition
has made its way into the strategy
chamber of the political parties
with the prospect that the Democrats
at least, will consider seriously
inserting a damp plank in their
platform. The leaders here are

against a repeal of the federal prohibition
amendment, but in favor of
a liberal interpretation of the laws
and a less drastic enforcement act or
that licht wines and beers may be
made in theh ome or bought like any
other article of food, provided the
beverages do not contain too much
