V V " Mrs. Bettie Baker Richardson g died at her home in Hartwell, Ga.,i | Nov. 19th, in her 81st year. She was! born and reared at Loundesville and was a visitor to friends and relatives in our town the week preceding her death. She was twice married,, first to Mr. b. D. Kennedy and to Mr. Richardson, of Hartwell, Ga. By neither marriage were there children, bat she reared several orphaned nieces and nephews. In ^arly life she united with the Presbyterian J church and died in the faith. Her long life was filled with deeds of love and noble sacrifices. The body,*' aceomI panied by her pastor, Rev. Rothenburg, several friends and relatives, was brought to Loundesville for interment. After funeral services in ) the Presbuterian church, conducted by Rev. Rothenburg, Rev. H. C. Fennell and Rev. J. A. Clotfelter, tihe body was laid \o rest inthe nearby cemetery. > Dr. Kirkpatrick went to Greenwood last Friday to attend the funeral obsequies of Mr. JT . E. Rivers. Mr. Rivers had been a commercial visitor to our town for twenty years an dhad many warm, personal friends who deeply grieved to learn of his death.' Rev. N. G.
