Miss Bessie Murray, of Greenville, is visiting- Mrs. W. T. MeDonald. Mrs. H. W. Boyd of Mt. Carmel, was in town Wednesday. Miss Sarah Haskell is spending this week in Greenville with friends. Miss Sadie Magill is visiting hei cousin, Mrs. H, A. McElroy of Columbia. Miss Eloise Britt of McCormick, is visiting her sister, Mrs. R. B. Cheatham. Mrs. Walter Winn spent several days in Atlanta^ this week with hei friend, Mrs. Roy Brewer. Mrs. Claud Vandiver leaves todaj for Atlanta, where she will spenc over Sunday with her home people. Mrs. M. B. Davis and little Marior Davis spent a day or two this wee! in Lawrenverille, Ga. Miss Susie Mabry is in Greenwood spending a few days with her friend Mrs. Herbert L. Allen. Mrs. Tarrant and her daughter, Mrs. Scott, of Mt. Camel, were in the city shopping Tuesday. Messrs. Jimmie and Leslie Britl were in the city Sunday calling or the pretty girls. Mr. Young enlisted in th service and got as far as Hobokei on his way to France, but when th Kaiser heard he was coming, he mad' peace in a hurry. New rules for the government of the club were read and adopted and there was an interesting exchange of I current topics.
