Also his daughter, Mrs. Ligon, 1 who has been spending the summei 5 with her parents, is recovering fron an attack of the same disease. Friends of Mr. Ray Clinkscalet are glad to hear of his improvement at the Anderson Hospital, where he reently underwent an operation foi appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Barnes, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moseley and Master James Barnes, visited relatives at Ninety Six last week. Mr. Sanders of McCormick, has opened a beef market at the depot, and solicits the patronage of the public from 9 to 3:30 o'clock every Saturday. Mr. Geo. P. Brownlee of Whigham, Ga., is the guest of his .brother-inlaw, Mr. Charles Clinkscales. The latest report from Mrs. E. W. Harper, Sr., is that she is rapidly improving from her serious illness at the Anderson Hospital. .Mrs. Edward Simpson and her little son, of McCormick, have come | for an indefinite stay with her father, Mr. Jas. C., where Mr. Keyser has a government position. Mr. W. T. Cunningham is at Mon terey this week looking after his farms. Rev. W. P. Kinard of Epworth, an evangelist, will conduct services at the Ridge next Sabbath at 11 o'clock That evening at 8:30 o'clock he will occupy the pulpit of the Methodist church in town. Handle New Wagons. The Stark Vehicle Co., have contracted for space to tell about, theii famous Bain Wagons. It will be remembered that this company handled the famous Mitchell Wagon. This wagon is not being made any more as the Mithell people are now manufacturing automobiles.
