Ives Townsend, which tookj . place July 28. The young couple mo-j j tored to Anderson and were married i by Dr. Foster, pastor of the Presbyterian church of that place. They left immediately after the ceremony in their car for parts unknown. Ai-j ter a wedding trip they will go to: New York, where Mr. Townsend will: be in business. Miss Cothran is the eldest daugh-| ter of the late Capt. John Cothran i of this place. She has made her home here with Mrs. Annie C. Durst until recently when she went 'to live with her uncle, Thomas P. Cothran of i Greenville.
