Mr. and Mrs. Allison of Hickory Grove, and Mrs. Hardin of Donalds, worshipped with the A. R. P.'s last ! Sabbath to the pleasure of the congregation. Mr. Lacy Bowie is on a pleasant visit to Due West He worshipped with the A. R. P's. in Abbeville on Sabbath, taking pleasant company with him. Mrs. E. L. Reid, Miss Isabel and Master Graham Reid, returned last Friday from Montreat, after a delightful month in the bracing air of the North Carolina mountains. We regret to say that Mr. H. M. Young is at the hospital in Anderson for treatment, preparatory to a rather serious operation. Friends earnestly hope that Mr. Young may rap| idly recover, following this operation Rev. W. A. McAulay of Greenville, passed through Due West on Monday. He had been conducting a meeting for Brother Bradjfey of Long Cane. Mr. W. D. Morrah was driving him :hrough in his car. Dr. J. I. McCain returned on Saturday from Tate Springs, Tenn. Dr. Patterson Wardlaw, Dr. McCain and Mr. Joe Roddey have been on their annual outing. The party were the guests of Mr. Roddey. Mr. Carroll oi Mississippi, is back I in Due West, driving through in his j Cadillac car, with his friend, Mr. | Burts, and colored driver. Miss Mary Stevenson, Miss Mabel Pratt and Miss Sara Addison have returned from New York where they have been attending the Summer School at Columbia University. They j report an enjoyable as well as pro| fitable stay in New York. Mr. W. A. Markham and Mr. John McGee have returned from a trip of ten days. They visited friends at Fountain Inn, Greenville, Black Mountain, Montreat, Hendersonville, and other points in the mountains. The visit was refreshing and greatly enjoyed. Mr. A. L. Young of Moreland, Ga., and Mrs. S. M. Beaty of Lowndesville, were visrtore in Due West last week. Mrs. Beaty is a sister of Rev. | Raymond Young and is known by j her college friends in Due West i '[Miss Grace Young.
