Dr. W. E. Link of Willington, is
visiting his son, R. S. Link, who has

Street. Mr. Link is grealty improved
now and is able to be out.
Mrs. Nelle White has returned
from Chester, where she underwent
an operation. She is greatly improved
in health and is spending a while
with Mrs. J. A. Harris.

William Hill, a student at B. M.
I., is sick at his father's home on
Greenville street. He returned home
Sunday, feeling slightly indisposed.
It is thought that he will be well
enough to return to school in a few

MRS. REESE ENTERTAINS.
Mrs. M. B. Reese entertained Friday
afternoon at a pleasant rook
party complimentary to Miss Eliza
Mabry, whose marriage to Dr. J. A.
Austin will be a interesting event in
June.
Mrs. .Reese had made her home
bedutiful in its decorations of Dorothy
Perkins roses, many vases of this
dainty flower giving color and beauty
to the scene.
"there were five tables of players,
over twenty guests being bidden to
do honor to the coming bride and to
enjoy the games.
At the close of the ganfes cream,
cake and mints were served, the color
scheme being carried out here,
for in each slice of cream a pink
heart was embedded.
Th? souvenirs of the afternoon
were dainty affairs of pink and white
each containing a Billiken stick pin,
a "fortune" for the receiver, and a
jaunty cap of pink. The bride's souvenir
was a boudyir cap of lace and
pink satin. ''
