X-KAISER NERVOUS OVER POSSIBILITIES Amerongen, May 15.?An official bstract of the preliminary peace irms published in the Dutch newsapers which was retranslated and sad to the former German emperor as aroused considerable excitement mong the member of the Hohenzol;rn party. Hi? iw worked as never before, and his tiysician, Dr. Foerster, who assisted im, was completely exhausted at _ inch time. j How the former empetor took the I 8ws the correspondent was unable ? ascertain, as every one in the case is sworn to secrecy regarding appenings. Rumors were circulated t the village that he attempted to >mmit suicide by hanging, but these re considered canards, since his atindants are quite calm. The former ruler looked wonderilly well as he walked out to his iwing this morning. It seems unoubted that he intends to stay in Holland, if he can, through the sumler, as further precautions have een taken around his castle. Orders ave been given to erect a high fence rk-f TMAof. IBERTY LOAN ARMY BEING DEMOBILIZED1 Washington, May 15.?Demobiliation of the Liberty Loan army of j ,000,000 has been ordered by the ecretary of the treasury. With the losing of the Victory drive, Secreary Glass made arrangements for he "discharge" of the great corps of olunteer workers today. The force f paid experts, however, will be reeved more slowly. Federal reserve bank organizations fere swamped under the job of tabuating loan* subscriptions. Reports eaching the treasury showed that all f the federal reserve banks had subcription records to make, which vould keep them busy more than a reek. Each mail was bringing in ;reat quantities of official records :rom local banks, messages received tere said. No figures showing definitely the tmount of the oversubscription were ivailable today and were not expect!<* before May 26. Treasury officials, lowever, believed that the surplus ould aggregate approximately $1 00,000,000. While the minimum quota whic le treasury has agreed to accept 1 4,500,000,000, officials pointed ot gain that all subscriptions of $10 00 or less had been allotted in ful his will probably force the issuanc f notes aggregating close to $4 50,000,000, officials believed. Estimates placed the number c idividual subscriptions during tb ampaign at 15,000,000. In tl ourth loan the number was 21,000 00, but that campaign was for $6 . .. NI ' ^ * .
