i ALMOST SUPERHUMAN STRENGT IS EXHIBITED BY "IJE'RCULES" POLO i * Star In Thrilling Universal Serial, "The Lure of the Circus" Flings / Men About as Though They Were Children. An exhibition of strength that will make motion picture patrons gasp in amazement is given by Eddie Polo, star of "The Lure of the Circus," the sensational serial of circus life and big business which will be shown at! the Opera House on Tuesday. Few of the many thousands of ad-j mirers of the co-star with Marie Walcamp in "Liberty", and "The| Bull's Eye", well known Universal serials, realize that the daring actor is known to the melical profession as "the perfect man", and that physically he measures up to the standards set by anatomists for male physique. In "The Lure of the Circus," the intrepid actor, who is a stranger to fear, performs some of the most marvelous feats of strength ever wit nessed. Among the many tests of his superhuman strength that will be features of the production will be the lifting of ten of his companions in the circus on a plank suspended from/ Polo's shoulders. 1 Two heavy draft horses will be allowed to see-saw on a plank across Polo's chest, and in another scene two Shetland ponies will be lifted clear of the ground and suspended in midair by the actor, who is acknowledged to be the strongest man of the age.
