Notice of Election. 3 t STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. 0 County of Abbeville. ^ Notice is hereby given that the 0 General Election for State and County Officers will be held at the voting precincts prescribed by law in said county, on Tuesday, November 5, fc 1918, said day being Tuesday follow- v ing the first Monday in November, * as prescribed by the State Constitu- b tion. s The qualification for suffrage: Managers of election shall require ^ of every elector offering to vote at ' any election, before allowing him to vote, the production of his registra- q tion certificate and proof of the payment of all taxes, including poll tax, . assessed against him and collectible ^ during the previous year. The pro- ^ duction of a certificate or of the rea ceipt of the officer authorized to / niwf finch taxes, shall be conclu-| sive proof of the payment thereof. 0 Section 237, Code of 1912, as a- a mended by Act No. 6, special session 0 of 1914. c E Section 237.
