Hester returned home last Friday,
after a pleasant stay in Greenwood
with her friend, Miss Dorothy
Tolbert
Miss Eunice McCelvy, who has
been spending a few days in Mcuormick
with her brother, Capt. J. 0.
McCelvy, returned home last Friday.
Miss Laura McAllister, who has
been spending the winter and spring
in Florida, returned to Mt. Carmel
last Saturday, and has been the guest
of Mrs. T. B. Frazier.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Ollie Watson
spent several days in Anderson this
week as the guests of Dr. and Mrs.
J. E. Watson.
Miss Floride McCelvy is enjoying
quite a nice trip now. Acompanied
by Capt. and Mrs. J. 0. McCelvy, she
left last Saturday to attend the Shriner's
meeting in Buffalo, N. Y., They
will also visit New York City, Niagara
Falls, Washington and many other
places of interest.
Miss Sarah Patterson, after a delightful
stay with her cousins, Misses
Susie and Florence Patterson, returned
to her'.home in Georgia the
latter part of the week.
Mrs. Joe Gibert and little Joe, and
Mr. Archie Gibert visited relatives
near Lebanon the past week.
Miss Tee Paschal returned home

Rev. W. S. Patterson of Lancaster,
who, with his bride is spending his
vacation in Mt. Carmel, was called
back to Lancaster by the very serious
illness of Mr. Robinson, one of his
members and church workers.
Rev. H. B. Blakely, pastor of the
A. R. P. Church in Mt. Carmel, is enjoying
his vacation now. He is visiting
Northern cities
Misses Sara and Isabel Boyd have
been spending a few days in Willington
with Miss Robbie Covin.
The Young People's Fancy Work
Club was very pleasantly entertained
by Misses Dora and Florence Black
on last Friday afternoon.
After work was laid aside delicious
refreshments were served. Several
Readings by Miss Eva Pickens Tarrant
added to the enjoyment of the
afternoon. Miss Tarrant took a
