Mr. Daniel going over to Spartanburg
for the reunion of his class. It
is the first time he has attended in
sixteen years and he had a pleasant
time seeing all his old friends.
Entertaining Mis* Hunter.
Katherine Link gave a delightful
party at her home on South
Main Street last Friday night in
, honor of Miss Genevieve Hunter, who
vras the attractive visitor of Mrs. A.
S. Thomas. Dancing and cards was
the entertainment of the evening and
4 a most pleasant time was enjoyed.

the evening.

barbecue and political rally at Barmore
's Fish Pond, near Donalds.
They have invited the candidates for
Congress and Solicitor from this
District, and extend an invitation
to all candidates for office in Abbe%
ville County to come to this get-together
meeting and co-operate with
them in devising means for the bettonseiii
of Abbeville County. They
extend a hearty invitation to every
one to come and enjoy the day with
them.
A Coming Wedding.
Dr. ami Mrs. J. S. Moffatt have issned
invitations to the marriage of
their daughter, Miss Julia Moffatt,
to Dr. S. Floyd Donnald, which in
terestir.g event wil) take place at
their home in Due West on June the
twenty-seventh. Miss Moffatt is a
x young woman of strong personality,
and is accomplished in every respect.
She has taught successfully for the
past several years in Honea Path.
She has a host of friends who wish
her every happiness and who congrat;
ulate Dr. Donnald on his good fortune.

Ga^ and Mr. John Nance, of Abbe a

on Jane 1st, 1916, a few friends

at their home in Fort Pickens.

yoong woman and she is receiving a
warm welcome among the friends of

,v7 Mr. Nance is a Seaboard man and
is at present running on the South
end as a flagman.
The young couple will make their
home with Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Bar.
