Mrs. Britt has a position as teacher in the graded school of that place. Mrs. Templeton and daughters, Mis ses Belle, and Frances returned to their home at Lethe, after two weeks nlooconflv snent with relatives in Ora. Mrs. W W Bradley and children and Mrs Lillie Bradley were calling on friends in this community Tues day afternoon. Miss Bettie Morroh returned home Tuesday after a week of pleasure at Greenwood, the guest of Mrs Chas. Klugh. Misses Margaret and Nita Moore, of Ninety Six spent the past week with relatives in Bellevue. Miss Alston entertained Thursday afternoon in honor of Mr and Mrs M E Bradley, and Mr. and Mrs S P Morrah. Miss Lizzie Bcuchillon, after a lingering illness of several months, died at the home of her sister, Mrs J S Britt, Wednesday night. On Monday night she was stricken with oaralvsia. Thursdav afternoon in the presence of many friends and rela" tives, she was laid to rest in the ceme tery at Buffalo, of which church she was a consistent member for sixtyfive years. Funeral exercises were conducted by Rev. Smith of McCormick. * Mrs. Belton Watson, of Anderson and Miss Perryman, of Lincolnton, Ga., attended the funeral of their aunt, Miss Bouchillon. . v ******** * T WNDF,SVTT J * * * *' * *>.* * Mr. J. Marion Baker of Washington, D. C., came in today was a week ago, and will remain for some days at the home his grandmother, Mrs T. Baker. K Miss Leila Moseley, of Anderson, came down last week, and enjoyed the outing at Milwood. Mr. A. D. Keyser of Anderson, went to Milwood last week and was with the crowd till Saturday then came here and spent a day or two with friends. There was a family reunion at Mr. W. H. Harden's two miles out, on Wednesday. It was estimated that there were at least one hundred and thirty persons present^ the greater part of them connected with the host by tie of kindred, the others were invited guests from this place and other places. The meats for the occasion were barbecued. The other adjuncts to a well-arranged feast, were exceedingly well prepared, and made up an exceptional menu, calculated to tempt and satisfy the appetites of all. Armstrong and son Mr William Armstrong of Honea Path, came over Thursday and will spend a few days at this the early home of the first with loved ones. Mr. D. L. Barnes went to Anderson in his car Wednesday and brought back with him Mrs. R. E. Liddell, Council Commander, the rites and burial cerc monies were performed by'the camp from this place of which the deceased was an efficient and honored member, A very large crowd was present.
