Oliver, of Gadsden, Ala., j came in the latter part of last week, and is j still here with his relatives and friends, c He is a native of this section and spent his t boyhood days here. Not long before the 3 war he went to Texas, volunteered in a ^ regiment there and served during the war. ^ Since then he has paid an occasional and short visit to this his old home, and the people were glad to see him.
