IN MEMORIAM.
Departed this life, Monday, February 12,
1912, in the twentieth year of her age, j
Louise lone Allen, beloved and only daugh-;
ter of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Allen.
A dutiful and devoted daughter, a sin- >
cere and thoughtful friend, a talented j
young woman of lovely character and)
sweet disposition, she had won the esteem
and affection of all with whom she was
thrown, wherever her lot was cast, as was
evidenced by the scores who attended her
funeral and wept In sympathy with the
heart-broken parents and brother wno
survive.
Her grave was covered with exquisite
cut flowers, th^ last token of love from
friends in Columbia, Due West and Abbe
ville, while at the head and foot and in ti e
center of the mound were placed pots of
living, fragrant blossoms, typifying in
their beauty and sweetness, the beauty
and sweetness of character which had won
for her the love of those who sent the flow
ers.
Her life, the quiet, Christian lives of her
parents, and her beautiful death, were
combined proof that, loug before it was
made there had been an answer to her last
prayer: "God bless papa and mama and
Frank, and help me to be a Christian."
. Yountf, beautiful and beloved, she has
#one unto a far country, and will be seen
no-more by mortal eyes, yet
"She is not dead, the child of our affection,?
but gone tint*) that school
Where she no longer needs our poor pro
tection,
And Christ himself doth rule.
"Day after day we think what she is doing
In those bright realms of air;
Year after year, her tender steps pursuing,
Behold her grown more fair.
" . . a fair maiden, in her Father's man
sion,
uotuea witn ceiestiui nmw,
And beautiful with all the soul's expansion
Shall wo behold her face.
"We will be patient, and assuage the feeling
We may not wholly stay;
Bv silence sanctifying. not concealing,
The grief that must have way."

Sickly Children
Letters from Mothers
411 wish I could induce every
mother, who has a dtiicate, sickly
child, to try your delicious Cod Liver
and Iron Tonic VINOL. It re
stored our little daughter to health
and strength after everything else
had failed."?Mrs. C. W. Stump,
Canton, Ohio.
Mrs. F. P. Skonnard, of Minne
apolis, Minn., writes, "I want to
recommend VINOL to every moth
er who has a weak or sickly child.
My little boy was sickly, pale, and
had no appetite for two years. I
tried different medicines and doc
tors without benefit, but thanks to
VINOL, he is a well and healthy
boy to-day."
C. Allen, of New Bedford, Mass.,
writes, "My two puny children gained
rapidly in flesh and strength in a very
short time after taking VINOL."
We positively know VINOL will
build up little ones and make them
healthy, strong and robust. Try
one bottle, and if you are not satis

the Medicine we Recommend.
We are so positive that our remedy will
permanently relieve constipation, no mut
ter how chronic it may he, that we offer to j
to furnish the medicine at our expense I
should it fail to produce satisfactory re
sults.
It ic worse than useless to attempt to
onre constipation with cathartic dru^s.
Laxatives or cathartics do much harm.
They cause a reaction, irritato, and weak
en the bowels and tend to make constipa
tion more chronic. Besides, their use be
comes a habit that is dangerous.
Constipation is caused by a weakness of
the nerves and muscles of the large intes
tine or descending colon. To expect per
manent relief you must therefore tone up
and strengthen these ortrans and restore
them to healthier activity.
Wo want you to try Ilexall Orderlies on
our recommendation. They are exceed
ingly. pleasant to take, being eaten like
candy, and are ideal for children, delicate
persons, and old folks, as welt" as for the
robust. They act directly on the bowels.
They apparently have a neutral action on
other associate organs or glands. They
do not purge, cause excessive looseness,
I nor create any inconvenience whatever.
I They may be taken at any time, day or
j night. They will positively relieve citron
| ic or habitual constipation, if not of sur
| gical variety, and the myriads or associate
| or dependent chronic, ailments, if taken
I with regularity for a reasonable length of
