Corn Exposition Nextro the Public; The South Atlantic Corn Exposition, to >e held in Columbia, Dec. 5-8,1910, which sthe first undertaking of its kind ever iflomnfrtrl in fKn n^/v. 1*4 LUC uuutll, CYCl^ piv tuise of being a great success. The State Corn Contest and the Boys' Dorn Clubs have developed and are still ieveloping the public interest in the matter of yields of corn. Now, that so much has been accomplished in that direction. Lhis Corn Exposition is to be held with a view of setting the machinery in motion to improve the quality of the corn raised in this and our sister States, to stimulate breeding work and make corn bring more per bushel. No one should fail to compete and send exhibits to the exposition because he has read of one man or boy making a phenomenal yield, and because he fears to enter into competition with such. At the Exposition all exhibits will be judged as to quality whether they are from lots of corn from tho large producing acres or not, They will be scientifically judged and scored and the corn from a low yield Held stands an equal chance with any other. I would, therefore, urge all corn growers, men or boys, who have what they consider good corn, either prolific or single r?n r* \rhitn i'ol ln<r 4-s\ nnnlir of rmrm In i , "uiuv ui j tiiu", i/W ui/ vuvu fv? il.
