Little Aiken Nickles who was bitten by a rabid dog some days ago, is tbe first patient to be treated with virus for hydrophobia Id Abbeville county. The virus, which was administered by Dr. Gambreil comes from Atlanta, and is tbe most costly part of tbe treatment. Monroe Loses Two to Abbeville?Roy Jones Pitches a No-Hit Game. The Abbeville team played in Mod roe on Friday and Saturday. The fseore of Friday's game was 4 to 1 in favor of Abbeville. R.oy Jones did not allow the Monroites a bit while Abbeville got 9 hits. Three runs were made in the eighth inning. Monroe won the first game of the double-header on Saturday in the second inning on three hits and four errors. The Abbeville Real Estate and Investment Company and tbe Anderson Heal Estate and Investment Company held tbeir auction sale here as advertised. Tbe sale.it is understood, was a success in every particular. Alt tbe lots in question were sold. This Is the first sale of ibe kind ever held here. Tbere is talk of an oil mill for Due West. I cultiva this cotton as I usually cultivate cotton except that it was fertilized I ter than usual. A good part of f fertilizer was Anderson Phosphate i Oil company fertilizer, the balance i other standard brands.
