REGISTRATION The attention of the public is called to the Act of the recent Legislature, approved the 24th day of February, 1908, which reads as follows : Ax Act to Provide for the Re-Enrollment and Registration of the Q,uallied Electors of this State During the Year 1908, aud to Provide Compensation for the Supervisors of Registration. Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, That the Supervisors of Registration in each County of the State are required to re-enroll all the qualified electors in this State during the year 1908. [ Sec. 2. That the same time the said j Supervisors shall register all persons 1 who may make application therefor ' and who may be entitled thereto. [ Sec. 3. That for the purpose of said 1 re-enrollment the Secretary of State shall furnish the Supervisors of Registration with all the necessary boobs, and the sum of five hundred dollars shall be appropriated for supplying Haid books. Sec. 5. That the Supervisors of Registration shall each receive for their services, during the year 1908, the sum of two hundred dollarn, to be paid by the State quarterly, as other State officers are paid: except iu tbe Counties of Ait erson, Charleston, Greenville.
