EASTER SUNDAY.
Even if the rain did descend an J the winds
blew & goodly number of worshippers ventured
out Sunday morning. Special Easter
' services were . held in the Episcopal and
Methodist churches. Both churches were
simply and tastefully decorated, no elaborate
decorations were unaeriaaen. jraimR. ivy,
cut flowers and pot plants were arranged in
pleasing groups in and around ibe chancel.

Mr. Charity Cromer, wbo has a position in
tbeTbird National Bink in Atlanta, was in
the city lor a few days last week tbe guest of
Mr. W. D. B-irksdale.
Mr. C. D. Brown and little Miss Charlotte

Mr. Brown goes to Fort Mill to attend a meeting
of the Grand Lodge of tbe K. of P's, and
